Swamy Educational Trust is a registered body founded in the year 1992 in Chennai.The Trust is already running a number of Educational Institutions such as School,I.T.I. and Polytechnic and now has started this Engineering College in the name and style of "Sri Ramanujar Engineering College".

The aim and objectives of the Trust is to impart   Technical Education to the aspiring youth all over the world.The Trust has started the Sri Ramanujar Engineering College in accordance with the general policy of the AICTE,  Government of India and Government of TamilNadu,to give priority to Technical Education in order to meet the demand for Trained Engineers for various industrial and development projects in the state of TamilNadu and the rest of India.

The College is located in a spacious area of more than 25 Acres at Nedungundram,   Kolapakkam, Kelambakkam High Road, at a distance of 3 Kilometer from Vandalur Zoo (G.S.T Road ).It is easily reachable from Tambaram ( 7 Kms) by bus.

The College is situated at a green belt surrounded by Hillocks which adds to the beauty of the location and environment.Our chairperson has chosen this area so that the rural people may also avail the oppurtunity of acquiring higher Technical Education which remained a dream so far.

The entire area provides a very pleasant climatic condition which contributes to the healthy environment required for an Academic Institution.
